The research team under the supervision of Dr. Alan Salmoni in the School of Kinesiology at Western University, is carrying out a study to measure the potential efficacy of acupuncture for preventing menstrual migraine headaches. Females between the ages of 18 and 49 years of age and who experience menstrual-cycle related headaches are invited to participate. Participation involves 9-treatment sessions in total, which are carried out by an experienced, licensed acupuncturist, Xianmin Yu (regulated by CTCMPAO in Ontario).
