Material Planner

·
Previous experience with MRP/ERP applications.

·
Proactively plan and procure both direct and indirect materials in support of daily production

·
Proactively identify, resolve and communicate potential supply concerns with supplier(s) and Company personnel as required.

·
Identify, implement and maintain effective / cost efficient transportation lanes for supplier base.

·
  f2 v  d6 G' |; J; t4 j! b  y+ mPurchase Order generation and maintenance.

·
  i# |4 t5 i) ]/ q" w. ?+ Q  SRoutinely conduct market surveys through the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.

·
Assist with identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

·
' E) h. H( [7 i1 QAssist with inventory reconciliation efforts as required.

·
* M! Y0 Z; X5 D* CDemonstrate a solid understanding of TS/ISO processes.

·
" U# ~5 g$ o0 T0 n: h5 A2 vDemonstrate a solid understanding of MS applications in particular Excel, Outlook and Word.

·
+ q$ f7 x& k3 l) yA minimum of four (4) years direct Material Planner / Scheduler experience and/or
( z% b+ ?; `% u& lrelated post-secondary education

·
Preference will be given to candidates who possess Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent post-secondary education

·
% n8 M9 N3 R4 W5 Y/ NFluent Mardarin & English writing and speaking
