Material Planner

·
Previous experience with MRP/ERP applications.

·
; ~) W* S4 t, V3 ?6 W7 `1 RProactively plan and procure both direct and indirect materials in support of daily production

·
: @& P& ?. _$ g8 {* ~( G4 ?Proactively identify, resolve and communicate potential supply concerns with supplier(s) and Company personnel as required.

·
/ a3 X2 h% l" vIdentify, implement and maintain effective / cost efficient transportation lanes for supplier base.

·
& |$ w: }# M3 O1 `" ]Purchase Order generation and maintenance.

·
2 `- L5 i* w7 I" l& WRoutinely conduct market surveys through the Request for Quote (RFQ) process.

·
/ p6 ], O. T9 q$ J, s5 nAssist with identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

·
Assist with inventory reconciliation efforts as required.

·
Demonstrate a solid understanding of TS/ISO processes.

·
Demonstrate a solid understanding of MS applications in particular Excel, Outlook and Word.

·
. W" u* I- P0 KA minimum of four (4) years direct Material Planner / Scheduler experience and/or
related post-secondary education

·
Preference will be given to candidates who possess Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent post-secondary education

·
Fluent Mardarin & English writing and speaking
